As a company, we feel strongly about giving back to the community, whether locally or nationally. Over the years, an increasing percentage of annual revenues have been directed to this end. Listed below you will find those organizations which we engage with and support – we are proud to be involved with such great causes.
Seafarers’ House at Port Everglades, USA is open throughout the year as a safe, friendly place where mariners can connect to their families, relax, ask questions about the community, and get emergency help if needed. Seafarers’ House is proud to be a leader in a 200 year old tradition active in hundreds of ports worldwide – welcoming visiting mariners to our shores and sharing the gifts of hospitality and fellowship.
The Coast Guard Foundation was initially created to provide funds for academic, athletic, and morale needs of the Coast Guard Academy and its cadets which were not covered by federal operational funding. The Foundation expanded its charter to support projects that enhance the education, welfare and morale of all Coast Guard members and their families.
The Plywood Regatta is a two-day boat building event that introduces young marine enthusiasts and the community to the craft of boat building and the excitement of recreational boating. A portion of all proceeds benefit South Florida marine industry education programs and the Plywood Regatta Sponsorship Fund. The aims of these programs are to encourage marine education and develop youth interest in the marine industry.
The event is owned, organized and sponsored by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) with support from local marine industry businesses. The Tournament offers both a Two-Day and One-Day offshore fishing competition, allowing anglers of all skill levels to compete.
Kids In Distress is a community-supported agency providing services for the prevention and treatment of child abuse in South Florida. KID’s programs offer a continuum of care and essential services to child victims and children and families at risk for abuse and neglect. We are a local agency open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help children and families in crisis with emergency shelters, and counseling.
For 30 years Home Safe has been providing pioneering care and treatment to Palm Beach County’s most vulnerable population, abused, neglected and abandoned children. Incorporated in 1979 as a day program for abused children, Home Safe has taken the lead in our community by developing the programs and services necessary to respond to the growing needs of children and families.
JA is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Junior Achievement programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
Reaching out to the Least, The Last and the Lost of our Community to Inspire Hope with Human Compassion and the Love of God. As a team of clients, staff and supporters we will utilize the best technology and resources to move an increasing number of homeless individuals from isolation to inclusion as accountable and productive members of the community with human compassion and the love of God.
It is the mission of HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc. to provide quality hospice services and education to patients with life limiting illnesses, their families and the community regardless of ability to pay. We provide: specialized medically directed program of care for patients with a life-limiting illness and their families, palliative care and aggressively promotes support for physical care, psycho-social and the spiritual components of the patient and family unit, and an environment in which the patient may die pain free with peace and dignity.
The Good Samaritan Clinic of Haywood County exists to provide healthcare (including medical care, spiritual and social support) to adults ages 18-64, who are uninsured and underserved in Haywood County, North Carolina. GSC provides access where gaps exist in the health care system.
The Weston Philharmonic Society does much more than simply present world-class musicians in concert. We also promote music appreciation to all ages. In addition to presenting symphony orchestras, we support and promote a variety of musical genres including jazz and pops concerts and even classical guitar. In light of the budget cuts and schools eliminating arts and music programs, we would like to fill that gap and bring more music into the schools.
The mission of NPR is to work in partnership with member stations to create a more informed public — one challenged and invigorated by a deeper understanding and appreciation of events, ideas and cultures. To accomplish our mission, we produce, acquire, and distribute programming that meets the highest standards of public service in journalism and cultural expression; we represent our members in matters of their mutual interest; and we provide satellite interconnection for the entire public radio system.
The Symphony of Americas seeks to enrich the cultural environment of South Florida and the Americas by presenting diverse orchestral music and international ensembles on an intimate scale for public, outreach, and student educational presentations, taking a leadership role in fostering cultural relations with the Americas.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested nearly $1.5 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
The National MS Society is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS now—to move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn't. We help each person address the challenges of living with MS through our 50-state network of chapters. The Society helps people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.

The Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. (LFA) is the foremost national nonprofit voluntary health organization dedicated to finding the causes of and cure for lupus and providing support, services and hope to all people affected by lupus. The LFA energetically pursues its mission through five program objectives: provides direct financial support to researchers through LFA's own national research program, Bringing Down the Barriers; advocates for increased public and private sector support for research on lupus; translates research findings into medically sound information and programs for people with lupus, their families, physicians, and other health professionals; heightens public awareness of the impact of lupus and supports individuals with lupus, their families and caregivers.
At Autism Speaks, our goal is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders. We are dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; to raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and to bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder. We are committed to raising the funds necessary to support these goals. Autism Speaks aims to bring the autism community together as one strong voice to urge the government and private sector to listen to our concerns and take action to address this urgent global health crisis. It is our firm belief that, working together, we will find the missing pieces of the puzzle.

As one of America’s foremost veterans service organizations, AMVETS (or American Veterans) has a proud history of assisting veterans and sponsoring numerous programs that serve our country and its citizens. The helping hand that AMVETS extends to veterans and their families takes many forms. One of the most visible is our network of trained national service officers (NSOs) accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Funded by the AMVETS National Service Foundation, these dedicated men and women can be found in close to 40 states, providing sound advice and prompt action on compensation claims at no charge to the veteran.
